About Qualeto

A Creative House, Built to Last

One studio, many genres — united by a love of imaginative work and a belief that the best things we make should outlive their making.

Our Story

From a creative spark to a publishing house

Qualeto began as a venture into distinctive clothing and diverse creative design. Over time it grew into a press and publishing house — one that spans tabletop gaming, software, and apparel, bringing imaginative worlds and unforgettable adventures directly to your table.

Today, Qualeto is the parent company behind a family of brands: the RPGAnywhere game system, the San Andreas Portals software suite, and clothing labels built for self-expression. Different genres, one creative roof.

Our Design Philosophy: Crafting Experiences

Everything we make — games, software, clothing — comes from a single idea: transform imagination into shareable experiences. Across every category, our focus is on designing compelling experiences that bring people together.

02

Our Commitment: Igniting Imagination & Community

We’re dedicated to fostering environments where people can embrace their true selves and build vibrant communities — sparking creativity and supporting personal discovery along the way.

The Team Behind the Adventures

Designers, storytellers & lifelong gamers

We are a collective of passionate designers, dedicated storytellers, and lifelong gamers who build the experiences we ourselves want to play, use, and wear — then share them with you.

Games

Tabletop RPGs and board games — including the RPGAnywhere system, free to play.

Software

Production-grade tools like San Andreas Portals — and a free CMS we gave away.

Clothing

Nerdy couture and self-expression through brands we believe in.

The Founder

A bridge meant to stand

Qualeto is the creative legacy of its founder, Nicholas Qai Blackwood — known to everyone as Q. A product and software leader who has been building for the web since 1996, a lifelong gamer, and a philanthropist who has always believed in building bridges between ideas, people, and communities. After a Stage 4 signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) diagnosis, that belief sharpened into a mission: to build things that endure and keep giving long after their making. It’s why everything here is made to last — and why he founded the Quartermaster Foundation (QMF) to help others facing the hidden costs of a serious diagnosis.
